After losing two matches on the trot, Sunrisers Hyderabad was under threat to lose another as they were all out for only 118 against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. In a stunning reversal, Sunrisers Hyderabad came out on trumps with their exceptional bowling attack and romped Mumbai with a 41-run win. Now SRH returns to their home to face the team that battered them the last time these two met.

Here is how the probable XI of the teams shape up –

Kings XI Punjab

KXIP has been one of the most successful teams in this IPL season. Their openers especially KL Rahul and Chris Gayle have been on fire and have given them a fantastic start in almost all the matches. The bowling has bee decent but batting has overpowered.

Chris Gayle

In the last match against Delhi Daredevils, KXIP missed Chris Gayle and had a poor start. it was the Karnataka trio that lifted them to a comfortable total. Ankit Rajpoot, Andrew Tye and Mujeeb all bowled really well and kept the Delhi batting down.

Because of Chris Gayle’s injury, KXIP included David Miller in the playing XI. They shifted Aaron Finch at the top but he failed. If Gayle comes in, Finch is likely to miss it. The prospect of playing in Manoj Tiwary in place of Yuvraj is quite possible.

Playing XI

Yuvraj Singh/Manoj Tiwary, Ravichandran Ashwin (c), Aaron Finch/Chris Gayle, Mayank Agarwal, David Miller, Karun Nair, Lokesh Rahul (wk), Ankit Rajpoot, Barinder Sran, Andrew Tye, Mujeeb Ur Rahman

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Hyderabad pulled off a stunning over the Mumbai Indians last night as they managed to defend only 118 runs against a splendid batting attack. Their bowling proved why it is the best in the tournament and returned to the winning ways.

Apart from Williamson and Yusuf Pathan no other SRH batsman could face Mumbai’s bowling. The bowling was top-class though. Rashid Khan returned in form with excellent bowling figures and others continued their good streak.

For the last match, They brought in Shikhar Dhawan, Mohammad Nabi, Basil Thampi and Sandeep Sharma in place of Ricky Bhui, Billy Stanlake, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Deepak Hooda. All are expected to keep their places after q phenomenal performance.
