Indian bowlers bowled some brilliant spells in their first warm-up match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 against New Zealand. Almost all the Indian bowlers took wickets in that match except Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya.
After winning the toss, Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson decided to bat first and despite having a great start in power play, the Black Caps batsmen lost the wickets in quick succession after that.
During first innings, India’s wicketkeeper and former skipper MS Dhoni once again showed his brilliance behind the stumps. Dhoni stumped New Zealand’s all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme in a split of a second, off Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling. Grandhomme charged down the wicket but was entangled by Jadeja who saw him coming and bowled it wide outside off stump. Soon after that Dhoni collected the ball well and thrashed the bails off in not time.
Dhoni has always been known for his lightning fast speed behind the wickets and he never fails to surprise the opposition with his speed and out of the box wicket-keeping skills. Over the years, we have seen MS Dhoni excel many batsmen with is brilliance. Watch the dismissal of Colin de Grandhomme here:
