During the 31st match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Bengaluru, Mumbai Indians’ Hardik Pandya bowled a remarkable over which saw him dismissing three batsmen from the opposition.

After Rohit Sharma won the toss and put the Royal Challengers in to bat, the home team rode heavily on Manan Vohra’s enterprising 45 (31). After the young man got out, Brendon McCullum and Virat Kohli looked set to play a substantial innings for their match.

Kohli was second batsman to get out in Hardik Pandya’s third over.

Just when the Royal Challengers seemed to finish the innings on a high note, Hardik Pandya’s third over happened which saw them losing track of the innings. On the first delivery of the 18th over, Mandeep Singh (14) holed out to Suryakumar Yadav at deep midwicket. In which came as an even more astounding dismissal for the home team, Kohli (32) hit a shot straight to Kieron Pollard at long-on.

With life sucked out of Royal Challengers Bangalore batting line-up, what further hurt them was when on the last ball of the over, Washington Sundar (1) hit a shot straight to Sharma at deep midwicket. Hardik Pandya conceded just two runs in the over, picking up three important wickets.
