The Indian Premier League (IPL) has always been a platform which provides the best opportunity for the aspiring cricketers in the country to play with some of the best cricketers in the world. While it helps the budding cricketers in improving their technical issues, the two-month association means the players develop a bond with the other players so well. Recently, Junior Dala was added to the Delhi Daredevils (DD) squad and it seems that he is already the most talked about players in the squad as Shreyas Iyer has the funniest nickname for him.

Delhi has gone through the tough times in the ongoing edition of the IPL with their veteran skipper Gautam Gambhir stepping down from his leadership role. While his form with the bat was not great, his decision to step down would’ve changed the dressing room environment completely. But it seems that the team’s bonding is still together in tough times as well as they could be seen having a lot of fun.

DD managed to win the last-ball thriller against Rajasthan Royals (RR) last night and no doubt the mood in the camp is excited about the upcoming games. It was a much-needed win for the Delhi Delhi team as it was evident as they had some fun while traveling on the team bus. The skipper Shreyas Iyer was leading from the front here as well as he targetted Junior Dala, the newcomer in the squad by calling him Ninja Turtle hilariously in his latest Instagram story. He recorded the video of the South African busy watching in his mobile and tagged him in his story.

Despite recent losses, the team seems to have gelled well together which is the most important in such long tournaments. As far as their chances in the IPL are concerned, Delhi needs to win all their remaining matches to qualify for the playoffs.
