Twitter is a fun place when it comes to match-making and stuff like that as a few days ago, something like that happened with Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) wicket-keeper batsman, KL Rahul. His mind-blowing performance in the ongoing season of IPL is impressing one and all not just in India but has garnered him fans even across the border, including the pretty Pakistani anchor, Zainab Abbas.

Rahul played an unbeaten knock of 84 off just 54 runs at the Holkar Stadium in Indore against RR helping his team register a comfortable win against Ajinkya Rahane led the team. In pursuit of chasing a target of 153, Punjab chased down the target in 18.4 overs. Instead of adopting his usual attacking strategy, KL started on a slow note and played a patient knock with Punjab chasing a tricky target. Rahul gave his team the perfect platform before taking on the bowlers and guided his team to an easy win over an unfortunate Rajasthan.
Lokesh Rahul has been one of the crucial cogs of KXIP as they have to perform more than the expectation in the ongoing 11th edition of the IPL. He even entered record books on April 8 against Delhi Daredevils (DD) when he scored a fifty in 14 balls — the fastest in the history of IPL. With the feat, he surpassed Sunil Narine and Yusuf Pathan’s joint record of 15 balls.
