During the 48th match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Indore, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Moeen Ali bowled an event-filled over which saw eight runs being scored and two opposition batsmen walking back to the pavilion.

Earlier Virat Kohli, captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, had won the toss and chose to field. Bangalore fielded an unchanged playing eleven. On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab made two changes to their playing eleven, bringing in Marcus Stoinis and Ankit Rajpoot in place of Barinder Sran and Mujeeb Ur Rahman.

Kohli caught Finch off Moeen Ali’s bowling.

Royal Challengers Bangalore dominated the match from the word go. Their pacers did not give many chances to Punjab’s batsmen to score off. Once wickets started to fall, they fell like pack of cards putting Kings XI Punjab in deep trouble.

Ali was introduced into the attack in the 12th over. He started with a half-tracker which was pulled ferociously over deep mid-wicket for a six by Aaron Finch. Watch the video:

On the penultimate delivery of the over, Finch tried to repeat the feat in terms of the outcome. But his slog sweep only went till the hands of Kohli at deep mid-wicket. He ended up scoring 26 (23) with the help of one four and two sixes. Watch the video:

Ravichandran Ashwin had come in place of Finch. On the following delivery of the over, Ashwin was found short of the crease at the striker’s end as substitute fielder Pawan Negi and wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel joined hands to affect the run-out. Watch the video:
