During the 51st match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Bengaluru, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Rashid Khan grabbed a blinder of a catch at the boundary to dismiss Colin de Grandhomme.

Earlier Kane Williamson, captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, had won the toss and chose to field. Sunrisers Hyderabad rested Bhuvneshwar Kumar for this match, replacing him with Thampi. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore fielded an unchanged playing eleven.

Colin de Granhomme had come in to bat at No. 5 in the 15th over. He was dismissed by Siddarth Kaul, who was introduced into the bowling attack in the last over of the powerplay.

It happened on the second delivery of the last over when de Grandhomme pulled a Kaul delivery with utmost force to Rashid Khan at deep mid-wicket. The fall was hit so fiercely that the fielder didn’t have time to move. All he could do was bring his put up his right hand in the air and some grab the ball. de Grandhomme ended up scoring 40 (17) with the help of one four and four sixes.
