The flamboyant all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been receiving an immense amount of criticism for not being able to perform according to his ability in recent times. Hardik has become the target of the trollers online as well, who never misses a chance to troll him for his performance.

Last year in July, when he scored a maiden Test century against Sri Lanka, he made an immediate impression and proved his worth as a useful prospect even in the longest format of the game. However, he couldn’t continue his purple patch in the next few matches.

In the ongoing, five-match Test series between Indian and England, Pandya has finally been able to silence his critics and haters by picking his maiden five-wicket haul in the first innings of the third Test to destroy the middle and lower order of England cricket team, on Sunday, August 19th.

Hardik finished the innings with jaw-dropping figures of 6-1-28-5. It was also the first time, that Hardik Pandya picked up a fifer in his international career. He averaged 32.71 with the bat and 39.30 with the ball in Tests before he took the field at Trent Bridge.

Recently, Pandya took to his Instagram account and shared a picture of himself from the same match. Expressing his feelings in the caption, he wrote: “There’s no better feeling than making the ball do all the talking. Soon, the picture received a lot of congratulatory wishes for the all-rounder. India’s ace tennis player, Sania Mirza also commented on his picture congratulating Hardik Pandya for taking his first fifer. Congratulating Hardik for his brilliant performance, Sania Mirza wrote: “Congratulations champ”. Even the young Indian spinner, Yuzvedra Chahal also commented with a couple of clap emojis.
