Team India is currently locking horns with the Windies for the third ODI of the ongoing five-match series in Pune. After winning the toss, the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli decided to bowl first and they Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja. However, India reduced the visitors to 25/1 after the sixth over itself and a lot of credit for that goes to the comeback of the veterans Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah along with the young Khaleel Ahmed.
The sixth over of the match was being bowled by Bumrah, who started his day with a maiden over. However, on the fourth ball of his third over, Chandrapaul Hemraj pummeled a short bowl on the off stump over wide long-on. He stood tall and smashed the ball while swinging his bat through the only to scored six with a breathtaking shot.
However, what transpired on the next ball grabbed a lot of attention for the fans in Pune. Bumrah bowled another short ball, but this time the bowl was climbing towards Hemraj’s throat, giving him no room still he attempted to play a hook shot, because of which the ball hit the top edge and soon after that, MS Dhoni started racing towards the backward square leg boundary and grabbed it over his shoulder and even putting in a full-length dive. It was arguably one of the most epic catches Dhoni has ever taken.

The catch was like a statement to the selectors as the fans aren’t used to seeing a dive nowadays from Dhoni but a day after he’s dropped from the T20 team, he pulls out all the stops. He looked 10 years younger as he hunted the ball down and gets India their first wicket.
