In Bigg Boss 12, fans of former Indian fast bowler S Sreesanth has got an apt medium to get information about the pacer’s personal life after the fixing scandal that shook the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the cricketing fraternity in 2013. However, in one of the recent episodes, the fast bowler revealed that he had even considered committing a suicide after the infamous incident.
It was the sixth season of the IPL where the spot-fixing incident during a match between the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) caught the eyes of the anti-corruption team. Sreesanth, along with two other cricketers, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, was banned for life. In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Season 12, Sreesanth revealed that the fixing allegations were levied on him for a sum of ₹Rs 10 lakh.
In the episode, the 35-year-old claimed that he was innocent and wasn’t involved in any sort of corruption. Having been involved in the case in 2015, Sreesanth said that he was depressed seeing his career fade away in front of his eyes and the whole subject even got the suicide thoughts run through his head.

Soon after making all the revelations, Sreesanth broke down while suggesting that he isn’t allowed to enter any cricket field ever in his life. In the case where his son goes on to take up the sport, he wouldn’t be able to attend his matches as well. The video of the same incident was shared on the Instagram account of colorstv, where former RR co-owner also commented. Kundra posted a laughing emoji alongside the word ‘Epic’ in the comment, in a way laughing off Sreesanth’s claims.

Whereas Sreesanth has been discharged and proven innocent of all the charges by the court.”

While it looked like Sreesanth will be able to play cricket outside India, the Supreme Court had dismissed the tainted cricketer’s request to let him play County Cricket. The Kerala-born cricketer has since been trying to establish a career in politics and film industry.
Bhuvneshwari also wrote a heartfelt open letter stating how a false accusation can ruin a person’s life. She also requested BCCI to let him re-live his dreams. She wrote, “I hope honorary BCCI grants him to re-live his life.. which is Cricket.”
