Rohit and Virat gave a clinical performance as their 200 run partnership made India go par the highest ODI run scorer. Virat got his 29th century and Rohit became only Indian player to hit successive 100s in ODIs. What could have been better?
Yes, MS Dhoni playing his 300th ODI yet made another 49* and was consistent, just missing his 100th ODI 50 by one run. On another hand, Pandey scored a 50 too and played clinical innings.
Bowlers did well to bowl out the Lankans by Bumrah and Yadav roping in 2 wickets each.
