Be it a regular batsman, an all-rounder or a bowler, when one enters a cricket ground with a bat in hand, no one likes to get out on a duck. Perhaps, it is one of the most embarrassing situation to walk back to the pavilion without contributing anything to the team’s score.
There can be multiple reasons for a batsman to get out without scoring a single run. At times, luck plays a spoilsport and one faces a jaffa or an unplayable delivery first up. As a new batsman on the crease, it becomes difficult to negotiate such a delivery.
