The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have started their Indian Premier League (IPL) journey with back to back wins. However, they have recently lost to Mumbai Indians (MI). From the beginning, they have been suffering from injury issues and some of the players became unavailable as well. On the other hand, Dwayne Bravo has been suffering from hamstring niggle and Shane Watson is also a bit injury prone. That’s why Stephen Fleming revealed that they have thought of some players inclusion in the side.
CSK doesn’t have many quality pacers in their squad and they played with only 3 overseas players in three out of their four games. Mitchell Santner was the fourth foreigner that played in the game against Rajasthan Royals. However, CSK signed up Scott Kuggeleijn in place of injured Lungi Ngidi. Kuggeleijn is a Fast bowler from New Zealand and recently played international cricket against India earlier this year.
