The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli is celebrating his 31st birthday on Tuesday and the cricketing fraternity has flooded Twitter to extend their wishes to the India captain. On Kohli’s 31st birthday, former India opener batsman, Virender Sehwag said that Virat’s batting was refreshing for everyone.

Currently, Kohli is enjoying a holiday in Bhutan on Monday with wife Anushka Sharma posting a few pictures of their “8.5 km uphill trek” where they met a “beautiful and warm family”. In a series of tweets, Anushka revealed that those who know her and Kohli know that they love such “simple and pure human connection”.

In the absence of Kohli, the Indian batting line-up failed to live up to expectation at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi as they only managed to score 148/6 in their quota of 20 overs. India lost the opening encounter, as they suffered first ever defeat against the Bangladesh team in the shortest format.

India will be looking to bounce back in the second T20I which is scheduled to be held on November 7 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot while the third and final match will be held at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on November 10.
Kohli will be joining back the Indian team for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh which is scheduled to commence on November 14 in Indore. It will be followed by the second Test is scheduled to start on November 22 in Kolkata which will be India’s first-ever day-night Test.
