Sania Mirza, the famous tennis player and her husband, Pakistan player Shoaib Malik’s love story is no less than a hit Bollywood film. At that time when everything was messed up between the two countries, they showed us that love can do impossible things and also breaks all boundaries and they got married in 2010. Now the two are proud parents of a little baby boy.

As expected, their wedding received mixed reactions. While most of the people praised Sania Mirza for her brave decisions, there were the people who also criticized her for marrying a Pakistani player. But that certainly didn’t affect them.

However, in a recent interview with India Today, Sania Mirza revealed how she first met the former Pakistan cricket team captain Shoaib Malik. She spoke about how she initially thought that destiny had a role to play in their marriage. But later the ace tennis star realized that Shoaib Malik had actually planned the meeting by himself.

“We knew each other socially and then we bumped into each other at a restaurant in Hobart where you don’t even see animals/birds after 6 pm, forget people (laughs). Must’ve been destiny that we met over there to be very honest. Only later I realized that he had actually planned to come to the restaurant because I was there. I was giving destiny all the credit but it was clearly not,” Sania concluded.
