Zimbabwe has announced a 16-man squad for two-match Test series against West Indies. Brendan Taylor and Kyle Jarvis are renamed in the squad after missing a lot of action for the national team.
Taylor and Jarvis, both, signed Kolkap deal and went England to play county cricket as overseas players, which led them to end their Zimbabwe contracts. But recently, Taylor parted his ways with Nottinghamshire and urges to play again for his country. He played his last time in World Cup 2015 against India, where he notched up back to back centuries. While Jarvis featured in the Test way back in early 2013.
Taylor posted an image of his Test cap on his social media account. He wrote, “Almost 3 years since I last wore my test cap. In 4 days I get to wear it again and represent @ZimCricketv and country.” See his tweet;
