The pandemic spread of the Covid-19 virus has brought the world down to a standstill. With no cricket going around and everyone in isolation for personal safety, many players and coaches are seen spending the free time on social media. Indian Cricket team senior spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has been very active on social media in the recent past after being locked own at home due to the pandemic outbreak of CoronaVirus across the globe. Ashwin received a tweet that the off-spinner found way too funny and decided to share it.  The Tamil Nadu star took to twitter and shared a hilarious tweet with his fans. Ashwin’s funny tweet also had an important message alongside it.

Ashwin says, “Hahaha, somebody sent me this and told me that it’s exactly been one year since this run out happened. As the nation goes into lockdown, this a good reminder to my citizens. Don’t wander out. Stay inside, stay safe! #21DayLockdown”.

Ravichandran Ashwin shared an image most famous for the time of the The “Mankading” incident. The “Mankading” incident took place during the 2019 season of India Premier League during a match between King’s XI Punjab and  Rajasthan Royals. Then Kings XI Punjab captain R.Ashwin and RR batsman Jos Buttler were the 2 main players involved in this incident.

Later On, Ravichandran Ashwin was released by King’s XI Punjab who have decided to hand the responsibility of captaincy to KL Rahul. The TamilNadu star who previously was a mainstay in the CSK team will now be seen plying his trade for the Delhi Capitals in the  13th edition of the Indian Premier League.

India’s apex cricketing body, BCCI has decided to postpone the IPL 2020 in the wake of the spread of CoronaVirus. Earlier scheduled to begin on March 29, India’s star-studded IPL is now rescheduled to begin on April 15.
