Rohit Sharma and Yuvi Speak on Unfair Indian Fans and Media

With no cricket going on, all the cricketers have a lot of free time on their hands right now. The cricketers are making the most of it by spending time with family. Many cricketers have been proactive in their social media in the past few weeks. The government of Indian has implemented a 21-day lockdown as a precautionary measure to contain the spread of COVID-19 virus across the nation. India team vice-captain Rohit Sharma and World Cup winner Yuvraj Singh joined hands for a light-hearted Instagram live session that made the cricket fans happy amid the poor world scenario due to Corona Outbreak.

Earlier Rohit Sharma had done a similar Instagram live session with fellow Mumbai Indians teammate and India pacer Jasprit Bumrah. On Tuesday, the Indian team vice-captain spoke on length with Yuvraj Singh catching up with him and discussing various topics from social distancing to the current Indian team.

During the live session, Rohit Sharma expresses his thoughts on how the media in our country has been extremely unfair on wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. He revealed how much media criticism the young wicket-keeper faces and how he spends most of his time with the Rishab.

“Media should think before writing something. I speak to Rishabh a lot. There was so much scrutiny on him and he got worked up. Media should also think before writing about him. But scrutiny will be there as long as you are playing for India,” Rohit said.

Rohit Sharma was upfront and did not shy away from criticizing the fan base who pass harsh comments on players without understanding the player’s efforts and that no one wants to lose. The India opener also took a hilarious dig on fellow teammate Yuzvendra Chahal for TikTok videos.
