A howler was recorded during the second innings of today’s match to make matters worse for Gujarat Lions. After putting Royal Challengers Bangalore into bat, Lions were set a target of 214.
After losing Dwayne Smith in the second over, Brendon McCullum and Suresh Raina let the hopes alive for the home team. Once they got out, chances appeared bleak for Gujarat Lions.
In the 18th over, Ravindra Jadeja and Ishan Kishan were involved in a mix-up in between the wicket, only to run-out one of them. However, Kishan played some attacking shots towards the fag end of the innings, but it was all too late until then.
