Legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar has stopped playing competitive cricket for more than 8 years now, but his love for the game is still intact. Unlike many of his contemporaries, the cricketing legend hasn’t been an active coach or commentator. However, he’s pretty active on social media, expressing opinions on different topics of the game. Tendulkar has also been reacting to viral cricket videos, lauding cricket lovers.
On Thursday (October 14), Sachin Tendulkar shared a video of kids playing cricket in a street. The video apparently showed a kid deceiving a lot of batters with his leg-break bowling. The child seemed well-versed with the art as he bowled several sorts of deliveries. While his traditional leg-breaks spinning away from the batters, his googlies were bamboozling the betters as well.
Several people faced him in the clip but none were able to read the ball well. The kid also hit the stumps a couple of times. It has to be noted that the child was bowling over the arm. Hence, his deliveries were pretty legitimate as per the norms of professional cricket.

Sachin Tendulkar was left amazed as soon as he saw the clips as he lauded the kid’s passion. The 48-year-old also informed that one of his friends shared the video with him. Captioning the video on Twitter, Tendulkar said, “Wow! Received this video from a friend…It’s brilliant. The love and passion this little boy has for the game is evident.”

Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee didn’t forget to drop words of praises for the young kid. Lee replied and wrote, “The kid can play.” From the Bollywood fraternity, Ranveer Singh was left awestruck by the child’s immense potential with the ball in hand. Singh reverted and wrote, “Bamboozled.”
The comment section got flooded in no time as fans were flabbergasted to seen teh kind. Tendulkar was also lauded for promoting young talent. Meanwhile, the batting legend was recently associated with his former team Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. He has been serving as the mentor of the franchise for quite some time now.

Unfortunately for him, the tournament didn’t pan out for MI the way he would have liked. Having won four of their first seven matches, the five-time champions were fourth in the team standings at the time of season suspension. However, they failed to do well in the UAE leg and lost one match after another.
