What begins as friendly banter between Khaleel Ahmed and Rishabh Pant takes a humorous turn when Khaleel playfully attempts to embrace Pant from behind. However, Pant, quick on his feet, playfully prods Khaleel, causing him to lose balance and plunge into a nearby swimming pool.

Caught off guard and off balance, Khaleel has no choice but to fall into the water, leaving Pant in fits of laughter. Khaleel, visibly amused and puzzled by the unexpected turn of events, soon joins in the laughter, making for a light-hearted and memorable moment.

During the marquee event, Rishabh Pant amassed 171 runs across eight matches, maintaining a strike rate of 127.61. However, his performances faltered against stronger teams like Australia (15 in the Super 8s), England (four in the semi-final), and South Africa (a duck in the final). Khaleel, selected as a reserve player, was poised to serve as an emergency backup for any member of the 15-player squad.
Pant was rested along with other senior players for the recently concluded five-match T20I series in Zimbabwe. Meanwhile, Khaleel participated in the series and in the three T20Is he played, he secured three wickets with an economy rate of 6.81.
