India and New Zealand are currently playing against each other in the second test match at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai where the visitors are struggling. After having posted 325 runs in the first innings, they bundled New Zealand within 62 runs and then set a target of 540 runs as well. Meanwhile, former players duo – Aakash Chopra and VVS Laxman slammed Ross Taylor for his bizarre innings.
Ross Taylor went on to play one of the most bizarre innings in the longer format as well. He did not know anything regarding what he was doing as Taylor was playing some weird shots to face spin as well. And, the Hindi commentators Aakash Chopra and VVS Laxman were not happy with his approach. They were constantly slamming him for his weird technique and style as well.

However, after the game, Axar Patel said: “It’s a five day match, and we’re still in the third day. The aim was to bat since we had a lot of time remaining in the match. We were trying to better ourselves assuming we’ll get such a situation in the fourth innings some day.”

With five wickets down of New Zealand, India certainly has the upperhand in the Test. While Nicholls was steady in the middle, he was accompanied by the youngster Rachin Ravindra, who had helped his side to register a draw in the Nagpur Test last week.
