Meanwhile, England captain Joe Root smashed another hundred and maintained his sublime form. He has scored centuries in the last two Tests as well. However, at Headingley in Leeds, Root went on to score 121 with the help of 14 fours. While Aakash Chopra was really impressed with  Joe Root, he also faced trolling on social media for his post.

He took to his Twitter handle and applauded the Test captain and his tweet went viral within seconds. “Three matches. Three tons. One of them 180*. The fact that he’s able to take only the confidence from the previous game and not his score (in the head) makes this feat exceptional. No false shots at the start of any of the innings… Root Atoot. 🙌🙏 #ENGvIND,” Chopra added.

Meanwhile, one of the fans has tried to troll him on Twitter by commenting there. He compared his international career with Joe Root’s series statistics as well. And, then he came with the reply – “Ur career stats r less than his series stats !! Lol,” on Twitter.

While the tweet went viral and soon caught the attention of Aakash Chopra, he didn’t waste time and gave a befitting response to his troller. “I have…had a career. You are just being a carrier of hate and trolling. Sending a lot of love 😊🥳❤️ Get well soon, my friend. Hope one day you’ll have your own face in the DP too. 🤗,” Aakash Chopra replied.

However, Team India could only manage 78 runs in their first innings after having a dismal batting show. On the other hand, England have posted 423 runs for 8 before the stumps on Day 2, having a  lead of 345 runs so far as well.
