Australian limited-overs skipper Aaron Finch seemed visibly pumped to represent the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the ongoing IPL 2022. He has been roped in as a replacement of the English opener, Alex Hales who had backed out citing bubble fatigue. Finch has now reached the KKR camp and would be looking to make an impact should he get an opportunity to feature in the playing XI.

Meanwhile, he has opened up about one of his habits on which he does not mind spending a lot of money. It is his love for bubble gum and the T20 World Cup-winning captain has made it clear that he has a lot of money with him to buy chewing gums during his almost two-month association with Kolkata.

Recently, KKR posted a Twitterati’s question for Aaron Finch and also his reply to the same. The question was “How much money did you spend on bubble gums?” Finch replied saying, “Good question. Well, we are very lucky that most changing rooms that we are going to, there is some supply. When we travel with the Australian team we always take a big amount so that’s nice.”

He further added, “I’ve got plenty here with me for the IPL. I am not sure when it started or how it started but, I think it was a nervous thing when I first started and it has just become a habit.”

Aaron Finch will be featuring for his ninth IPL franchise ever since he had made his debut in the cash-rich league in the marquee tournament back in 2010. The two-time World Cup winner had gone unsold at the IPL 2022 mega auction in February as no franchise showed faith in him. Therefore, he would now be looking forward to making the most of his opportunities this time around after KKR gave him a second chance.
