The Indian team locked horns with Australia in the series opener of the three-match T20I series and dominated the game by winning by 11 runs. While India was batting, Australian skipper Aaron Finch suffered a hip injury while fielding, and it has landed him in some troubles. Finch will be going through the scans after sustaining an injury in the glute area. He suffered the trauma while diving to save runs for his team and suffered the injury in the same manner how David Warner suffered a right adductor strain.
Finch came to open the batting for his team and played a quickfire knock of 35 runs but struggled to runs between the wickets. His scans would decide further development in the squad.

Talking about the same to Fox Cricket, Aaron Finch said, “A bit of a hip or a glute or something like that at the moment. We’ll wait and see, but it progressively got worse throughout the game. We’ll have a scan tomorrow and see how we go.”
The Australian team has been going through an injury saga as the Star batsman David Warner first got ruled out of the white ball series due to his groin injury. They have also been hampered by the loss of Marcus Stoinis and Ashton Agar. In the first T20I, while batting first, India posted a fine total of 161 runs owing to the brilliance of Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul.

Due to Jadeja’s concussion case, Yuzvendra Chahal had to be substituted by the Indian team as his replacement. And in a lucky turn of incidents, he managed to scalp three significant wickets after conceding just 25 runs. India won the match and took the much-needed lead 1-0 in the series.
