Australia’s limited-overs captain Aaron Finch has recently shared some of his favourite things. He said that Harbhajan Singh is his favourite Indian bowler. Finch was asked several questions during a Twitter chat as he stayed at home like others amid the crunch situation by the novel coronavirus which infected even UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Friday.
“Loved Harbhajan Singh during his prime, specially on spinning wickets,” Aaron Finch said in a reply to a question.
Aaron Finch was also asked to chose between two batting legends Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara and asked who was more fun to bat with between the two? It was referred to the time when Aaron Finch played along with both Tendulkar and Lara for Marylebone Cricket Club against Rest of the World XI. He replied “Both” in his answer.

He had scored an unbeaten 181 and built partnerships with both Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara respectively as he guided his side to a seven-wicket win. Finch also said that opening the batting with Tendulkar was a dream come true for him. He was also asked about facing a bizarre dead ball off Bhuvneshwar Kumar in an ODI in 2019. The situation took place during the third and final ODI of India’s tour of Australia on January 18 last year.
“It was like a dream, one of my greatest cricketing memories,” he said while referring to Tendulkar.
“I had no idea what to do…shouldn’t have pulled away, I got out next ball…last ball of the over,” Finch tweeted in response.
Coronavirus has affected not only everyone’s lives but also sporting events across the globe which not only included the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League but also many international series where no decision took place as the situation has not changed much in the last few days amid the novel coronavirus pandemic in the country as well as globally.
