Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, a celebrated power couple in India, have been in the spotlight recently due to Kohli’s absence from the first two Tests against England. Kohli, the former Indian captain, cited “personal reasons” for opting out, prompting speculation within the cricket community. AB de Villiers, Kohli’s close friend and former IPL teammate, stirred controversy by revealing on his YouTube channel that Kohli was expecting his second child.
In a video, AB de Villiers shared, “So, yes, his second child is on the way, it’s family time. You cannot judge Virat for that, and yes, we miss him, but he’s made the right decision. We wish him all the very best for the great blessing of being able to become a father for the second time and All the Best to Anushka as well.”
However, AB de Villiers later acknowledged his mistake, admitting to sharing false information. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing family and extended his well-wishes to Kohli and his family.
