The young SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) all-rounder during the match against Rajasthan Royals (RR), unlike his teammates. SRH got the prized wicket of Sanju Samson who gave a catch at long-off after playing a knock of 33-ball 48.
Abdul Samad, who was stationed there, took the catch at the edge of the boundary. The incident took place in the 17th over of the match bowled by Vijay Shankar when Sanju Samson wanted to clear the long-on boundary. However, the RR skipper only managed to get the toe-end of his bat.

Samad had almost touched a boundary, but he caught the ball by timing his jump perfectly and maintained the balance quiet perfectly. Samson departed for 48 after making a sold partnership of 150 off 88 deliveries with Jos Buttler for the second wicket. Buttler, who opened the innings, managed to reach a hundred and lift his side to a formidable total.

Earlier, SunRisers Hyderabad’s new captain Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to field first. They made three changes to their squad as Mohammad Nabi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Abdul Samad came info David Warner, J Suchith, and Siddharth Kaul miss out. On the other hand, RR also made a couple of changes to their squad as Jaydev Unadkat and Shivam Dube were replaced by Kartik Tyagi and Anuj Rawat respectively.
