Indian opener Abhishek Sharma has etched his name into the record books, achieving the highest-ever rating points in the history of the ICC Men’s T20I Batting Rankings. Following his exceptional run in the 2025 Asia Cup, Abhishek reached a staggering 931 rating points after the match against Sri Lanka in Dubai on September 26th.

This phenomenal feat surpasses the previous five-year-old record of 919 points, set by England’s Dawid Malan back in December 2020. Despite a slight drop to 926 points in the latest bi-weekly release, a minor hit from a low score in the final against Pakistan, Abhishek’s tournament performance was truly dominant.
