Adidas India recently unveiled the new jerseys of the Indian cricket team, marking a significant milestone in their five-year contract with the Board of Control of Cricket (BCCI). The sportswear company, which became the official kit sponsor for the Indian team, took to Instagram to showcase the jerseys for all three formats of the game: T20, ODI, and Test cricket. The release of the new jerseys by Adidas comes at a crucial time for Team India, as they have several important assignments lined up for 2023.
The team will kick off with the World Test Championship (WTC) finals against Australia in the following week, followed by the Asia Cup in September and the ODI World Cup in October-November. Under the terms of the contract signed in May, Adidas has exclusive rights to manufacture kits for all formats of the game, serving as the sole supplier for the BCCI, including the men’s, women’s, and youth teams’ match, training, and travel wear.
