The flamboyant Indian all-rounder, Hardik Pandya will have a point to prove in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021. The dashing all-rounder hasn’t been going through a rough patch in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) and as a result, Mumbai Indians (MI) failed to qualify for the playoffs. Moreover, he was going through fitness issues which didn’t allow him to bowl a single over in the gala tournament.
Questions were even raised over his selection in Team India for the marquee event. Hence, it would be interesting to see how the dasher proves his worth. Meanwhile, Hardik received an adorable surprise during one of his recent interviews. He was in the middle of interaction when his son Agastya entered the studio room to greet his father. Pandya looked delighted by his son’s appearance as he held the toddler’s hands and talked to him.

For the unversed, Hardik and his wife Natasa Stankovic witnessed the birth of their first son in July last year. With the all-rounder being an active user of social media, he often posts adorable pictures and videos of his little son. With families allowed in the bio-bubble, the 27-year-old can stay with his son during his cricket assignments as well.

Not to forget, Shardul Thakur has been included in the Indian 15-member Indian squad and he exchanged places with Axar Patel to the reserve players. This shows BCCI is keen to have a fast-bowling all-rounder option if Hardik is unable to deliver. Nevertheless, Pandya, during an IPL match earlier this month, had said he would be bowling soon. Meanwhile, India will be commencing their campaign against arch rivals Pakistan on October 24.
