On Tuesday, India will be eyeing to take the last four wickets of the Australian batting line-up as soon as possible in order to chase a modest target and level the 4-match series 1-1. India’s stand-in skipper, Ajinkya Rahane, and his men continued their dominance on Day 3 of the ongoing Boxing Day Test against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground, sending six Kangaroo batsmen back to teh pavilion after taking a 131-run 1st innings lead.
Regathering and firing on all cylinders after getting all out on 36 and losing the first Test match by a huge margin of 8 wickets in Adelaide, the visitors needed a special effort and they did what was needed. They have played textbook Test cricket — bulding partnerships, playing the waiting game, bowling with accurate line and length on a pitch which was helping the batsmen more. Not long before we will witness an epic India comeback Down Under.

Talking about the same during a show on Sony Sports, former India cricketer, Ajay Jadeja has a similar thing to say. The 49-year-old cricketer-turned commentator was wary of the team’s chances despite them being in a good position on Day 3 as they had a forgettable outing in the series opener.
Ajay Jadeja said, “Fabulous day for for India today. Third day, the blues that you had, we were in good position but there was a little air of uncertainty because of what happened in the last game. But once you went past that and six wickets you picked up, it’s a matter of time now.”
