India’s clinical win over West Indies in the first Test in Dominica was highlighted by Yashasvi Jaiswal’s impressive debut innings and Ravichandran Ashwin’s 12-wicket match haul. As the action unfolded, the stump mic captured some amusing chatter, with Ishan Kishan’s words providing moments of humor.

Throughout the Test, Kishan was heard offering suggestions to Virat Kohli, advising Rohit Sharma, and playfully warning Shubman Gill about the captain’s reactions. On the final day of the match, Kishan decided to pull Ajinkya Rahane’s leg during a tense moment.

In the final session of the third day’s play, Jomel Warrican frustrated the Indian team with his unusual batting stance and unorthodox shots. Reacting to Warrican’s strokeplay, Kishan humorously informed Rahane that the opposition batsman had played more deliveries than the Indian vice-captain.

“Aap se zyada ball khel gaya yeh, Ajju bhai (He has now played more balls than you),” Kishan quipped while taking his position.

Rahane, who had scored 3 runs off 11 deliveries on the second day, was indeed surpassed by Warrican, who faced 18 deliveries and hit three boundaries before eventually falling to Ashwin’s trap. Ashwin’s exceptional performance solidified his status as the No.1 ranked Test bowler. He claimed his 34th five-wicket haul, tying him for the fifth-most by any bowler in Test history.
