“The team that he has got to develop as a young captain in Test cricket is a good thing because every captain wants to develop his team and players. What we have seen of Shubman Gill the batter in Test cricket is a different thing, but the way he has developed himself as a captain has been good to see. And also how he has conducted himself, which is very important for an Indian captain. Shubman has the quality to take this team forward,” Ajinkya Rahane concluded.
