The deputy Indian skipper in Tests, Ajinkya Rahane, who led Team India to a historic Test series win in Australia last month in the absence of the regular captain, Virat Kohli, took to Instagram on Wednesday where he shared a video of himself having a net session in Chennai ahead of the first Test against England.
In the 23-second video, Ajinkya Rahane can be seen middling the ball more often than not against the off-spinners as he geared up for the upcoming four-match Test series against England. On Monday, the Indian team completed their mandatory quarantine and cleared COVID-19 tests as they resumed training. Captioning the video, Rahane tweeted, “Back to training.”
