It was again a rollercoaster game when England and West Indies locked horns with each other in the second T20I. There were some phenomenal performances from both th teams as the visitors managed to pull off a one-run win to level the five-match series. Moeen Ali starred for the visitors as his all-round heroics pushed the Caribbean side on the back foot, but Akeal Hosein almost gave the three lions a knockout punch by smashing 28 runs in the final over and he fell short of just 2 runs.
Earlier in the match, West Indies asked the Englishmen to bat first after winning the toss at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. Openers Tom Banton and Jason Roy played some delightful shots in the powerplay overs as England got off to a fine start. Moeen Ali played a brilliant cameo of 31 runs. A quickfire 27 from Chris Jordon meant the Three Lions managed 171/8 in their allotted 20 overs.

Romario Shepherd joined forces with Akeal Hosein and the duo added some spice to the contest. While Shepherd slammed a 28-ball 44, Akeal Hosein also scored as many runs but off just 16 deliveries. In fact, West Indies scored 27 runs in the last over when they needed 29. However, their effort eventually went in vain as Eoin Morgan’s men won by one run.
