India and England are locking horns with each other in the rescheduled final Test of the 5-match series at Edgbaston in Birmingham. On Day 4, India managed to set a target of 378 runs for the hosts to chase down and in reply, English openers, Zak Crawley and Alex Lees made an opening partnership of more than 100 runs, but the latter lost his wicket after a horrible mix-up with Joe Root.

The incident took place in the 25th overs bowled by Ravindra Jadeja, as chaos led to the wicket of Alex Lees. Joe Root was yelling for a single but his partner is nowhere near getting to the other end. Thick inside edge squirted to backward square leg, Alex Lees wasn’t sure where the ball had gone, maybe couldn’t hear the call because of the noise, and as India celebrate a third wicket in the space of three overs.

That’s when Kohli said something to Bairstow to which he fired back. This left Kohli angry; he then let loose his verbal volleys at the batter. In the end, the former India skipper grabbed his catch of Bairstow and blew a kiss when he was taking the long walk back to the pavilion.
