In a recent Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 match between UP Warriroz (UPW) and Mumbai Indians (MI), UPW captain Alyssa Healy took matters into her own hands when a pitch invader disrupted the game at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The incident occurred during the final ball of MI’s innings, prompting Healy to confront the intruder and briefly halt the match.

Despite the interruption, the UP Warriroz went on to secure a convincing 6-wicket victory against Mumbai Indians. The opening pair of Kiran Navgire and Alyssa Healy played a pivotal role in the triumph, forging a formidable partnership of 94 runs in just 9.1 overs.
