The Indian limited-overs skipper, Rohit Sharma, and former captain Virat Kohli got dismissed in the same over by Alzarri Joseph in the ongoing third and the final ODI against West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It was also the maiden over from the lanky Widnies pacer. The double-wicket over from Alzarri Joseph has put India on the back foot in the third ODI of the series.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were dismissed in the 4th over of the Indian innings. The incident took place during the third ODI at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Rohit Sharma was looking to cover-drive the ball on the up, but he did not get close to the good-length delivery. The ball moved in a bit towards the batter and took the inside edge and hit the middle stump.

Virat Kohli on the other hand got out on the second ball that he faced as his struggles with the form continued in the game. In what can be considered a bit of an unlucky dismissal, Kohli touched a ball going down the leg side which wicket-keeper Shai Hope caught easily.
Earlier in the game, West Indies stand-in skipper, Nicholas Pooran lost the toss, and India decided to bat first citing some spice in the pitch early in the innings. The Widnes made one change in the playing XIs as Hayden Walsh replaced Akeal Hosein in the playing Xi. On the other hand, India made as many as three changes in their playing XI.
