The legendary Indian actor, Amitabh Bachchan was thrilled to meet Indian players in Mumbai recently. The actor’s immense love for cricket is well-known to everyone, he is often spotted cheering for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and for Team India in international matches.
Mr. Amitabh loves to remain connected with cricket, even he once had a short commentary stint during the 2015 World Cup held in Australia. Time and again the living legend heaps praise for Indian cricketers on Twitter and even defends them in bad times.
The cricketers and the actor share a common warmth for each other and the respect. Earlier this week, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma hosted their wedding reception at the St.Regis Hotel in Mumbai. The guest list included Indian who’s who of Bolltwood and other Indian sports industry. While people were busy enjoying the party Mr Bachchan was met the cricketers and had a chat.
A day later Mumbai Indians all-rounder Krunal Pandya hosted his wedding in Mumbai which also gave the Sr. Bachchan another chance to share the space with the cricketers.
Sr Bachchan always comes up with interesting tweets about the performance of the Indian side and he is also a huge fan of the Pandya brothers.
Hardik who himself is a huge fan of Mr. Bachchan and also shared one of the memorable incidents with the legend while interacting with famous anchor Gaurav Kapur on his show ‘Breakfast With Champions’. The Shahenshah was honoured to meet the cricketers and his series of tweets stated that.
