An angry Kiran More!

During the second Test of India’s tour of New Zealand at Napier in 1990, wicket-keeper batsman Kiran More was hot under the collar after the umpire turned down an appeal for caught behind.

As the batsman tried unsuccessfully to pull the ball, the ball went past his helmet straight into the hands of More who was convinced of the batsman being out.

More reacted in a furious manner, something which was uncalled for. It was at this time when the then Indian captain, Mohammad Azharuddin, asked his wicket-keeper to calm down and relax.
