The Indian cricketers, after scripting one of the most memorable overseas wins in the recent Test series in Australia, received a rousing reception as they came back to India from completing the tour Down Under. India was forced to make lots of changes in their playing XI throughout the four-match Test series due to injuries and the unavailability of some of the cricketers.

The Test series saw the visitors handing debuts to as many as five players. Despite the constant chopping and changing in the XI and fielding an inexperienced side, India managed to win the series 2-1. On Saturday, Anand Mahindra, chairman of the Mahindra group took to Twitter to announce that he will be giving six SUVs to the Indian cricketers who played their first Test in Australia and stood up to challenge.
