There are situations when you don’t have adjectives to describe someone’s performance. One such situation is with the ongoing form of Virat Kohli. How do you, as a bowler, stop him?
The Indian captain has smashed three centuries in six ODIs against South Africa and most importantly, in South Africa. No Indian batsmen has even done that before in one series.
The regularity with which he scores these hundreds is unbelievable and unimaginable. In the 208 ODIs that he has played for India, he has scored 35 centuries. Forget Indians, no one in the world has ever come close to this feat.
During the ongoing sixth ODI between South Africa and India at Centurion, Kohli ended up scoring 129* (96) with the help of 19 fours and two sixes as India chased down 206 in 32.1 overs.
He smashed two sixes in consecutive deliveries off Imran Tahir in the 31st over. On the fourth delivery of the over, he slog swept the leg-spinner for a six and followed it up with a full flow of his bat on the following delivery.
