The Indian cricket team is currently on a long and grueling tour of England which comprises of 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs, and 5 Tests, out of which the limited-overs leg is finished with India winning the T20I series by 2-1, but they lost the ODI series by 1-2. However, currently, they are trailing the Test series by 0-2 with three more matches to go.
While the media and the fans have immensely criticized the visitors for their humiliating loss of an innings and 159 runs in the Lord’s Tests, the players are also looking low on confidence to face the superior bowlers of the opposition. Meanwhile, ahead of the Test match, the team met the Indian High Commission in London and was also accompanied by the skipper Virat Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma for which she received a lot of heat on various social media platforms.

Moreover, the fact that only the wife of the captain attended the dinner also didn’t go down well with most of the fans. The members of BCCI and the High Commission also came up with clarifications over the same in the following days but the actress didn’t seem to have liked it all.
The Bollywood diva is currently busy in promoting her upcoming movie ‘Sui-Dhaga’ whose trailer was recently revealed and the movie is set to release on 28 September.
