Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma recently opened up about her relationship with husband and Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli, offering fans a rare glimpse into the personal side of one of cricket’s most dynamic personalities. While Kohli is widely known for his aggressive intensity on the field, Anushka revealed that off the pitch, he’s quite the opposite—calm, grounded, and surprisingly relaxed.
In a candid conversation with Filmfare, Anushka Sharma described Virat as one of the calmest individuals she’s ever met. “Off the field, he’s so relaxed. He’s the most shaant person I know. I look at him and I’m like, ‘Wow! You’re so chill,’” she said, clearly still in awe of his composed demeanor away from the cricket field. It’s a striking contrast to the fiercely competitive player we see in the India jersey or while leading Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL.
The couple, who tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony in Italy in 2017, have never shied away from publicly expressing their admiration for each other.

Anushka went on to call Virat her best friend and confidant, saying, “I’m married to someone I love dearly, just because of the human being that he is. When we’re together, the world ceases to exist.” Despite their strong bond, the early days of their marriage were anything but easy. Anushka shared that in the first six months, they barely saw each other, managing to spend just 21 or 22 days together due to their demanding careers. “Even the staff at home would be happy when they saw us together,” she added with a smile.

Now, the couple has chosen a quieter life in London, having moved there in 2024 to enjoy more privacy and peace away from the spotlight, though they continue to visit India regularly for professional commitments.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli continues to shine in IPL 2025. On and off the field, Kohli seems to be thriving with his bat and in his beautiful partnership with Anushka.
