India captain Virat Kohli, who is all set to play the Test series in New Zealand, received an emotional message from wife Anushka Sharma on Monday. Anushka Sharma took to Instagram and shared a post with a picture along with Virat Kohli but it was the caption that ruled the Internet.

“You’d think good byes get easier with time. But they never do,” Anushka Sharma gave the caption on her post on Instagram. Soon after Anushka Sharma posted the picture, fans started sharing their comments section with heartwarming messages for the couple.

On February 13, Team India had an off day and they went to Blue Springs in Putaruru, New Zealand to enjoy the day. Pace spearhead Mohammed Shami had posted a picture on Instagram where Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were seen chilling with the teammates. India will now play a two-match Test series against New Zealand which will start from February 21.

The first match will take place in Wellington while Christchurch will host the second and final Test of India’s long tour of New Zealand. As far as the series is concerned, India had whitewashed New Zealand in the five-match Twenty20 International series by 5-0. But the Kiwis had bounced back brilliantly and they whitewashed India in the One Day International format by 3-0.

However, the upcoming Test series will be a part of the ICC Test Championship which India are already leading with 360 points from seven victories in as many games as well. On the other hand, New Zealand are in sixth place with 60 points from five Tests as well. New Zealand had lost their last Test series against Australia by 0-3 while India thrashed Bangladesh in the two-match Test series at home.

It will be interesting to see who will have the last laugh between India and New Zealand in the upcoming Test series.
