As the Indian team left for England, India captain Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma along with their daughter Vamika got clicked at the Mumbai airport on June 2. The shutterbugs were looking to take pictures of Vamika’s face, but they couldn’t. However, she was sleeping in the carrier and a little part of her face can be seen in the picture.

Meanwhile, a few days ago during an Instagram live session, fans asked Virat Kohli to show Vamika’s face. The Indian captain refused the request as well. Later, he also explained the meaning of Vamika’s name to another fan. “Vamika is another name for Goddess Durga. No, we have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice.” Kohli shared.

However, Vamika is currently on her first overseas tour who was born recently. Both Virat Kohli and Anushka posted a few pictures of her on their social handle but her face was covered.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli said that the World Test Championship final against New Zealand will be challenging but they will not be playing under any pressure. The World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand is scheduled to take place at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton, starting 18 June.

During the pre-departure presser, Virat Kohli said, “WTC final will be challenging for the team. But it’s time to enjoy what we’ve has done in past years. There’s no pressure on me and there won’t be in the future. It’s the final, so it’s time to enjoy it. It’s a great opportunity to reflect and relax. Just for the guys to roam around freely, considering that we will have a five-Test series coming. It will give us time to regroup and that is required before an important series like this.”
