Arjun Tendulkar, the son of the legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar recently answered a few questions on Instagram. And, when asked as to who is his favorite Mumbai Indians’ (MI) player, Tendulkar Jr. replied that he likes Jasprit Bumrah the most. Arjun Tendulkar was picked by the Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise in the 2021 IPL auctions.

The Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians (MI) side retained Jasprit Bumrah ahead of the 2022 IPL mega auctions. Bumrah will draw a salary of INR 12 Crores. The fiery pacer has been the mainstay of the Mumbai side for 8 years. The right arm pacer has represented the Mumbai Indians (MI) in 106 IPL matches and has scalped 130 wickets at an excellent strike rate of just 18.63.

Bumrah also averages only 23.05 with the ball in IPL cricket as well. Apart from the IPL, Bumrah is also one of the mainstays of the Indian side with the ball in hand. The 28-year-old has featured in 27 Tests, 70 ODIs, and 55 T20Is for Team India.

While Jasprit Bumrah has scalped 113 wickets in Tests, he has prized out 113 batters in the ODIs as well. In T20I cricket, Bumrah has taken 66 wickets. Jasprit Bumrah was last seen in action during the three-match ODI series that India played against South Africa. He scalped a total of 5 wickets in that series against the Proteas at an average of 27.40.
