The Tendulkar family celebrated a memorable occasion on Thursday as Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, tied the knot with entrepreneur Saaniya Chandhok in a private yet star-studded ceremony in Mumbai on March 5. The 26-year-old cricketer, who currently represents Goa in domestic cricket and plays for Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League, began a new chapter in his life surrounded by family, friends, and several high-profile guests from cricket, cinema, and politics.

The wedding ceremony took place at a luxury hotel in Mumbai on Thursday morning, following which the Tendulkar family posed for photographs with the media. The guest list read like a who’s who of Indian cricket. Among those spotted at the celebration were MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Dravid, Gautam Gambhir, Zaheer Khan, Ajit Agarkar, Suresh Raina, Aakash Chopra, Irfan Pathan, and Harbhajan Singh.
The celebrations also attracted several prominent personalities from Bollywood and politics, including Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and politician Raj Thackeray, as well as members of the influential Ambani family.

Several clips from the ceremony quickly went viral on social media, offering fans a glimpse into the joyful atmosphere. In one widely shared video, Arjun’s friends were seen playfully teasing him by asking him to raise his cricket bat and congratulating him for scoring a “century,” a humorous nod to the batting milestone synonymous with his father’s illustrious career.

Arjun, a left-arm fast bowler and handy lower-order batter, got engaged to Saaniya last year. The couple even travelled to Delhi earlier this year to personally invite dignitaries such as Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Droupadi Murmu, and Rahul Gandhi to their wedding celebrations.
Saaniya Chandhok comes from a prominent Mumbai business family and is the granddaughter of noted businessman Ravi Ghai. Professionally, she is involved in entrepreneurship and serves as a designated partner and director at a Mumbai-based pet care venture.

Meanwhile, Arjun continues to build his own cricketing identity. After starting his IPL journey with Mumbai Indians, he was traded to Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the 2026 season and will be eager to make a bigger impact in the upcoming edition of the tournament.
