The veteran Indian journalist, Arnab Goswami, who has often been seen going with fake rants on nationalism and insulting anyone who doesn’t agree with him has now a put a target on his back for the cricketing trollers on social media. He has stooped down to a different level now as he insulted Sachin Tendulkar on his show and called him an anti-national.
Maybe he didn’t use that term directly, but Arnab has indirectly called Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, and Kapil Dev anti-nationalists. He also went on to insult Sachin Tendulkar by bashing him on his statement regarding the ind vs pak clash during World Cup 2019.
There has been a lot of debate is going on lately for India pulling out off the World Cup 2019 game against Pakistan as the aftermath of the Pulwama attack that took the lives of more than 40 CRPF soldiers. Talking about the clash, Sachin said: “India has always come up trumps against Pakistan in the World Cup. Time to beat them once again. Would personally hate to give them two points and help them in the tournament. Having said that, for me, India always comes first, so whatever my country decides, I will back that decision with all my heart.”

However, his statements didn’t go down well with many people including Arnab Goswami, who in order to gain attention insulted Tendulkar on his show.
Talking about his statements Arnab said: “I don’t believe in any Gods. Sachin Tendulkar is 100 percent wrong. Sachin Tendulkar, if he has any sense, he should realize that he should be the first person to say that don’t play with Pakistan. (Sunil) Gavaskar should be the second person to say that don’t play with Pakistan. These people say that we need two points. Both are damn wrong. We don’t need two points. I want revenge for my martyrs. Sachin Tendulkar can take his two points and put them in the dustbin. In this country, there are only two sides now. There are people, who are with India and people are against India. Those, who want to take the middle road, are against India because there’s no middle road.”
Arnab’s statements have left the fans quite angry. People are bashing him for insulting Sachin on his show. Fans are very angry on him for calling the man who played all his life for India an anti-nationalist on his show.
